Your student will have one annual meeting each year, and one triennial meeting (full reassessment) every three years. If you would like to know the due date or the projected date of the meeting, message me on class dojo or email me! I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
If there are any other concerns you have during the year (services like speech or OT, behavioral issues, etc.), you can always ask to hold an addendum. This is a meeting where we can make changes to the annual IEP, if necessary.
**At this time of remote learning, please be mindful that we are doing everything we can to keep our IEP calendar current. Feel free to contact me with any questions or conserns.**
Yes! I love parent volunteers! You have to be board-approved by HUSD before you do so, however. Applications for board approval can be found in our front office. Just ask one of our lovely ladies at the front desk to help you out!
Please keep in mind that while parent help is very welcomed and appreciated, often it is difficult for our younger students to function productively in class when their parent is in the room. If that turns out to be the case with your student, but you still want to volunteer, I will modify the way that you do so by either sending work (cutting, velcroing, etc.) home with you or letting you use our service (speech and OT) room to do work in when you come to our class.
