Welcome to A-team K/1/2!

​My name is Nicole Bales. I have 10.5 years of experience teaching students with Autism and other special needs. This is my third year at Topaz Preparatory Academy.

I believe that every child has capabilities for greatness and progress.

Our classroom is staffed with 4 adults (myself, and 3 instructional assistants). We begin our day with whole group work (morning meeting, calendar, letter/number of the week) then we move into academic rotations. On Wednesdays, it's game day (social skills and executive functions day)! 

Each student has work differentiated to their academic level of performance (K, 1st and 2nd).
